Shop, Sip & Dine Local on November 7
The Waconia Chamber of Commerce announces the 19th Annual Divas Enjoying Awesome Retail (D.E.A.R.) Day on Saturday, November 7th, from 9 AM to 4 PM. Get ready to hunt down a full day of shopping, sipping, dining, and bagging great deals across Waconia!
During this unique shopping experience, over 35 local businesses will offer the perfect excuse to grab your friends and shop! Slip into your blaze orange, get into the D.E.A.R. spirit, and hunt down great deals all over town during Minnesota’s Deer Opener!
What to expect on D.E.A.R. Day:
- Scavenger Hunt Map: Search for the letters D-E-A-R at participating businesses. Find all four, and you’ll be entered to win a “Basket of Waconia”—a prize valued at over $300, filled with goodies from local shops, bars, and restaurants!
- Exclusive Deals: Enjoy special offers while you shop, sip, and dine. Wear blaze orange for extra offers!
- Shop Local, Support Local: Every local purchase helps our community thrive and adds to the small-town charm that makes Waconia special.
“Shopping local is all about keeping the Waconia community thriving! Every time you support a local business, you’re helping to make our town even better. D.E.A.R. Day is the perfect excuse to get together with friends, shop locally for the holidays, and show some love to our community!” said Christine Fenner, Waconia Chamber President.
