When you think farming, you may think only of animal and produce farms, but the agricultural landscape is vast, and Waconia has a little bit of everything–coupled with a lot of heart. Just a short drive away, you’ll find Gongoll Beef, a third-generation crop and beef farm where passion for their craft is evident in every interaction. Havenwood Meats, whose tagline says it all– “We have a steak in our community” –is another local treasure. And the list doesn’t end there. We’re also fortunate to have award-winning vineyards, honey apiaries, cheesemakers, a llama farm (yep, you read that right), greenhouses, and so much more. These dedicated, hard-working producers truly care, and their efforts paint a vibrant picture that highlights what we’re all about: relationships, support, sustainability, engagement, and pride in what we do and who we share it with.
