Cast Your Vote in Waconia’s Scarecrow Tour: October 8–18, 2026
The leaves are falling, and the weather is cooling—you know what that means—the Waconia Scarecrow Tour is back! The Waconia Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau invites the community to make their way around Waconia and explore over 40 scarecrows displayed by local businesses during the 19th Annual Waconia Scarecrow Tour, October 8-18.
This fall favorite tradition is a self-guided tour that’s free, fun, and a family-friendly way to enjoy the outdoors this season. Be sure to vote for your favorite scarecrow! The People’s Choice winner will be decided by the community, while a panel of judges selects the Grand Prize winner.
Pick up a ballot at any participating business or get one online at DestinationWaconia.org. Once you submit your ballot, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a chance to win $25 in Waconia Bucks or prizes from participating businesses.
The Waconia Chamber hosts the Waconia Scarecrow Tour each year to showcase local businesses, encourage community participation, and highlight all that Waconia has to offer.
